Finally a chance to add some more!

Ok, here are some more details on our trip to Snowbird:
Monday, June 11

Megan's 5th birthday! We woke up to Papa making birthday breakfast of pancakes and sausage. It was really yummy. Megan loved it. We went to McD's for lunch (the adults actually ran across the street to Bajio grill and enjoyed that much better--did I write that already?) and then went to The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy for a fun birthday activity. They had a pool of rays that we could reach in and touch. It was pretty cool. They are still in construction phase so there wasn't a ton of things to look at and do, but plenty for us that day. Megan came home with a purple and green spotted stuffed snake she named "Dizzle" (thanks to Barbie Fairytopia Magic of the Rainbow). We picked up pizzas from Papa Murphy's and headed back up the canyon for birthday dinner and cake. We had ordered a Dora cake for Megan the Saturday before when we drove into town. My brother, Thayne, and his wife and baby, Kailee and Harper, drove up from SLC to join us for the party. It was way fun and we were so excited to finally meet little Harper! He's 3 months old and the sweetest, cutest little guy. It's so nice to hold a tiny baby. ;) Here are some pics from the day:

It was chocolate and vanilla swirl cake with a strawberry filling and whipped cream frosting in very bright colors, as you can see. One of Megan's gifts, The Butterfly, by Usborne Books. It's a really cute story and the pictures are really beautiful and fun. Thanks Uncle Andy, Aunt Cindy, and Ryan!Sleeping baby Harper on his mom's shoulder. I just love this picture!
