Brooke is now 5 months old. Wow, how fast the time has flown! She is such a sweet, joyful baby and we love her so much. She has been fascinated by food lately. I was hoping to wait a few more weeks, but she watches every move we make when we are eating and drinking. It's really too cute. So when I was at my parent's house a couple weeks ago we bought a box of good old rice cereal and tried it out. Here it is, her first real food (if you can call it that).
"Oooo, looks yummy!"
"Hmm, here it comes. It's kind of mushy."
"I'll take some more, please." 
"Do I really have to eat this stuff?"
"Well, it looked good."
"Yes, I want more!"
