Take me out to the ball game!

Both Brandon and Megan are playing on baseball teams this fall! So far we have had 1 game each and the next week everything was cancelled because of all the rain we've had. They are having a good time, though! Brandon hasn't played for a couple years so I was glad he was excited to play again. Megan is doing great for never playing before. Ha! It's kind of funny at times. :) She's adorable out there. Here are some pictures from their first games.

Baseball is over

We went to the closing ceremonies for the spring '07 baseball season tonight. They moved it inside to a church in case of rain so we were all inside and of course, there is never enough seating for everyone. Brandon had a blast being on the coach pitch Angels team this year. He definitely wants to play more seasons and continue to improve on his skills. His team did pretty darn well this season. Unfortunately, because of all the rain in the past 2 weeks the fields were unplayable and they canceled the post season tournament. It was a bummer because I think they would have done well, however, it did make my life a little easier being done with all the games a little early. :) Anyway, back to the ceremonies tonight. They all received their fun little trophies and took some pics and that was about it! Here are a couple pics from tonight:

Tomorrow we are supposed to be going to Kate's team party for her kickball team, the Hot Shots, but tonight she has a cough and a fever so that probably will not happen. What a bummer. Then on Tuesday evening we have both Brandon and Megan's team parties so we'll be going to both of those for part of the time. Should be fun and then we're done! I don't think I ever want to have 3 children on 3 different teams at the same time again. It was totally impossible!
