Lagoon!

We are now in Florida so I figured I really need to get all the Utah pictures up so I can get the next round of vacation pics up and not get so behind again. So, here goes!

We spent a day at Lagoon while we were staying in Park City. It was really a lot of fun. The kids all had a blast. I went on one ride and I was content with that (the swings). :) Brandon and Kate ventured to a couple of the bigger rides with Daddy. We also spent some time at the water park section and Brandon and Kate had an especially fun time with the tubes. Megan's favorite thing was all the kiddy rides. She went on most of them 3 times. Thankfully Grandma and Grandpa helped a lot getting the kids where they wanted to go.

Here are Kate and Grandpa on the roller coaster. My Dad said he had a ringing in his ears after this ride. He had this screaming giggling girl riding next to him. ;)

More Park City

They had so many fun activities for the kids to do that they were busy most of the time! They had a great area just outside the resort with bungee trampolines, climbing wall, merry-go-round, alpine slide and alpine coaster. They also had the ski lift, or "up-chairs" as Megan called them, running. Megan couldn't wait to ride the "up-chairs" so she and Kate and Grandma and Grandpa took the chilly ride up the mountain and back down. They were freezing by the time they got back to the bottom!

UT trip--to Park City!

We had such a great time in Park City with my family. There were so many fun things to do! They had these life-size chess and checker games that we got lots of good times out of. The kids loved these.

The pool and hot tubs were so pretty and nice and warm since it was still pretty cool up in the mountains. There were little waterfalls going into the hot tubs. This one the girls are in was just lukewarm that day so it was a perfect little pool for the kids.

Megan is 6!

We celebrated Megan's 6th birthday this last Wednesday, June 11, while we were here in Park City. This is what we woke up to that morning:

The snow was a fun surprise. Megan knows it was just for her on her birthday. ;) We had a little family birthday party for her at the Olympic Oval Ice Skating Rink. It was so cool! She had a blast as did everyone else. It was her first time ice skating and she was so excited to go. She was a little nervous and shaky at first, but she ended up doing really well and just loving it. What a fun day for her! Thanks for the great idea, Mom!

She loves rollerblading so this came pretty naturally to her.Here's Megan standing outside the Olympic Oval. It was a really fun day!Megan is our fiery red-headed little girl. She is full of life and love. While she does have the temper of a red-head, I love when she is cuddly and wants to read a book or play a game together. She's a momma's girl. She loves to sing and dance, play with her friends, play computer, swim, color and draw. I think one of her most favorite things to do is help in the kitchen. She is always the first one to want to help stir or measure or scoop.

She just finished a great kindergarten year and I can't believe she's going to be a big first grader!
